There are few things that inspire me more in the kitchen than to cook with the leftovers in my fridge. I hate letting good ingredients go to waste and always try to incorporate whatever there is left into a new dish. Until several years ago the main focus in dishes was usually on meat or fish. Vegetables were often neglected, meant to accompany the rest of the meal; the part you needed “for the vitamins”. How drastically things have changed , because these days it’s all about the vegetables!
It’s Valentine Day this week and therefore I present you some recipes that are perfect for a romantic evening (or morning/afternoon) or as a gift to a loved one.
This doesn’t mean that these recipes are only suitable for these Valentine occasions though, because they’re just as good the other 364 days in a year.
